I'm so glad I signed up for the flea! Decided to price my AllDolledUp! items at $10 just for the flea, and sold a lot of stuff, especially the vintage accessories like these!
There were lots more I brought in, and they were selling like hot cakes! There were also some new clothes that were sold out and a customer even wanted to 'bribe' another customer into giving up the top to her, by paying her more!
The flea was mainly targeted at the youths in Heart of God Church, and as usual, the youths were awesome =) . Extremely helpful and very organised. The only worry I had would be during the fashion competition, where participants would take items from the participating stalls to dress their model up - what if my item goes missing amidst the crowd and chaos?
Well, I just went in faith that everything will go in order, and I think I had everything back bah. It's gonna be a tedious task of checking stock tomorrow, cause I also missed recording down a few purchases!
I was also really happy to receive a compliment that one of the youths made to another youth (and that youth then told me directly), that I'm very pretty and very nice and 亲切! Ah, totally made my day.. Heh.. Yes, the wonders of make-up, and of course a great attitude always wins!
I also must thank my girl friend who came down to help me, she was really really wonderful in setting up, selling stuff, and always took the initiative to do things for me. I mean, I'm the stall owner, I should actually be doing most of the stuff right? Thanks so much babe, seriously, what would I do without you!
We were so busy and tired that we forgot to take a picture of ourselves and our booth! ARGH!
Nvm, so I dug out a photo of Heart of God Church during service, as well as my lovely friend, Fengyi =)

My Reel: Short Film - A Pair of Happiness
A short film I acted in Jan 2010 for Andrea Lim's final year project from Temasek Polytechnic Design School.
During their screening, one of her classmates cried, something had struck a chord with her. I'm so touched to hear that, cause that's one main thing I hope to achieve as an actress/singer - impact people through my performance. =)
***
Synopsis:
The death of her parents brought them together, the only family that Amy has left is her grandfather, Lim Hock. Amy, now a grown woman, is stepping forward into a new phase of her life, marriage.
Since the death of his wife, Lim Hock, has always lived alone. After decades of solitude later, he now faces the challenge of expressing his love, for his only granddaughter.
As the misunderstandings build up, how can the two seek to save their only kin? - each other.

Review: Liese Hair Dye
I used Liese's Marshmallow Brown, applied about 15mins once through the entire head, and continued piling more and more foam all over for another 20mins till the bottle was almost empty, and left it on for another 10mins before I washed off.
This is the end result at Day 0.
There's unevenness in the colour, some parts brighter than others, but I guess that's bound to happen somewhat when you dye by yourself. At least I did feel that the foam was easier to apply and go under to the bottom layers of hair than the traditional kind of DIY dye.
I'm happy with the overall results, at least I don't look as fierce as I did and my hair is not half black and half brown now!
The colour is also supposed to get lighter/brighter as you wash for a few more times.
Item: Liese Hair Dye in Marshmallow Brown
Price: $15.80
Bought at: Ocean, Chinatown (3rd level, above the hawker centre, can't remember the building name)

Cody Rock and the Quest for the Macguvitonium - Part 1
Wooohoo! Just got news 5 mins ago that the Okto kids sci fi series I did is airing starting 25th May at 8pm! It will also be repeated on Sunday 11am.
Visit Cody Rock at http://okto.sg/codyrock/
My role is Pyriss, the main antagonist in the show. I appear in the last few minutes of Episode 1, Episode 2, and last few episodes I think. It's a 10 episodes drama. Will update again on facebook!
And sigh, I have no idea why they put my dialect name (Soh Yee Chen) on the website.. Have requested for them to change, hopefully it can be done soon..
Since it's airing in a couple of days, I have decided to pick out some photos from the tons that I took during the shoot in Kuching!
Have to prepare for a shoot soon so I shall continue part 2 of photos in the next couple of days. If you want to be updated in real time, either subscribe to my blog through RSS feed or click follow me, all on the right sidebar! =)

I arrived 2 days later than everyone as I had other commitments on the original flight date. Alicia, the producer for Monstrou Studio, was really nice to make alternative arrangements for me.
Perman Jungle Resort - My home for 1 week
Eeeew, what greeted me was a huge spider the size of my palm..
Our Jungle Hut
Living room inside the hut
1 of 2 bedrooms inside the hut. The hut can sleep a total of 6-8 people
There is another cool type of accommodation which we didn't get to stay - Tree House.
My Day 2 and it's shooting time! Just a partial sneak preview of my imaging, just in case I can't reveal much prior to airing! It's freaking hot in the leather jacket, jeans and boots, but thank God it was raining for the first few nights, and sometimes day when I was there, thus the weather was still quite cool.
Ooops, my boots' soles became crocodile and Roy, the creative director, had to find ways to shut them up. Tape now, and then contact glue the next day..
Crew - Art director reviewing footage, I think
"Wah Gor" (Brother Wah) - Director of photography
Shooting by the beach
Shooting by the rocks
The crew working under the harsh elements of nature - the over-zealous sun, sometimes the furious sea..
.. and the bawling sky..
Pui Yee, the super stressed production assistant
Elle - the terribly tired make-up artist because she is the first to wake up to start doing make-up for all the actors on call that day. Which usually I'm the first on her schedule since my image takes the longest to paint.
Actors get a break in-between scenes, but crew has to work during all the scenes!
Have to prepare for a shoot soon so I shall continue part 2 of photos in the next couple of days. If you want to be updated in real time, either subscribe to my blog through RSS feed or click follow me, all on the right sidebar! =)

Addictions
Oh dear, I'm addicted to 败犬女王!
Other than because the protagonists are cute and pretty, I quite like the plot. Some parts are smart, some parts predictable, some parts 'funnily' silly, some parts heartwarming, some parts angry, some parts sad. I'm at episode 15 now and I cried once.
I can identify with Wu Shuang, the female lead, on the desire to get hitched, although for different reasons as her. I also do believe in fairy-tale relationships and marriages, not that everything is a bed of roses, but that a couple can communicate in all situations, be open and honest with each other, believe and put in effort to make the marriage last till death do them part. Especially more so when I know my other half and myself will be putting God first and we'll be serving Him together.
However, I'm also kinda afraid to get into a relationship, as I see various failed marriages by people close to me.
Ah well, I've rejected the impact of these failed r/s on me in Jesus name and I trust God for His provision!
Here's 3 videos of the songs featured in the show, sung by one of my fave singer, 梁静如. Enjoy!

I'm also addicted to this brain training game, where "you will be guided through a complete brain fitness program over the course of 40 sessions. Each session consists of 5 games. During the first few sessions, you will learn about the various games and the program will adapt in difficulty to best challenge you."
They also have it as an iphone app, so you get to train your brain on the go! But the sessions and games are lesser.
It's really fun, and I always found such games a joy. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!
